Twelve adventures. One mode each.
Every Kai à la Mode book is one feeling a child meets and one tool they take away. The first is here.
Brave Mode
The Sky Monster
Kai loves playing in Cinnamon Valley, chasing birds and butterflies and splashing in Pebble Creek. Then gray clouds roll in, and BOOM. Kai is sure the Sky Monster is coming to get him. With Wally the Owl and Yuna the Cat beside him, he learns to take a deep breath, take one small step, and count from the flash to the boom.
